Oddly, what I was gonna add is pretty close to that. The earliest memory I have is being about the same age with my mom and grandma trying to calm me down from the absolute fit I was throwing after seeing something like that.Quote:

Oh, yeah! How could I forget the hospital my son and I were born in? When I was born there, it was this Catholic place with all these nuns buzzing about, and I'd not been back until we started going there for pre-natal care and the birth.
He was born, only two weeks early, but weighing only four pounds. He quickly dipped down to three pounds, twelve ounces I believe. Was it twelve? I dunno, whatever. The point is that he had to stay in the hospital for what ended up being exactly one week after his birth. Obviously, we spent a lot of time there.
The elevators only have buttons for floors 1-5 and the basement level, but it's obvious when you see the place from the outside that there are six above ground floors. That was odd enough, but it started getting really weird whenever we'd go in after hours to spend most of the night with him. First off, a hospital with a ground floor that's pretty much empty in the middle of the night is scary just because of the Halloween factor, but what we saw wasn't anything you can write off as nerves. No shadows, nothing involving our peripheral vision, absolutely none of that.
Every time we went in after hours, or at an odd moment during the day when we two (and a few times with whoever we brought with us to see the baby) were in the elevator hall, elevator number five would just open up on it's own.
Now the first time it happened was during the day, and we figured some kid, some asshole, some something was goofing off and hitting all the buttons and getting off at the first stop. No big deal. BUT IT KEPT ON HAPPENING. After a couple of days, however, the ante was upped. It went right past floor three, where their "New Life Center" was, past floor four, past five and then it opened up on floor six. The abandoned floor.
The first time, I had gone down alone to get some food from the first floor vending machines. I didn't tell my ex, I didn't tell anyone. Like I thought anyone was going to believe me. All I knew was that it was completely abandoned, the tile had been ripped up from what little of it I could see (I was NOT walking out of that elevator), and whatever I felt (might have been nerves, I dunno) was leaving me scared shitless.
The next day I dropped her off at the hospital, and drove out to pick up my friend, Justin, who I've known since I was three. He wanted to see the little guy, but she wanted to be there in time for feeding. Anyway, Justin and I arrive, and we end up in the elevator hall alone. Five opens before I can hit a button. Not wanting to seem like a sissy, I walk in. At this point, I haven't told him shit about number five, the sixth floor, any of it. But it happens again.
He wanted, for about half a second, to get out and scout around, but whatever it is in these situations that turns you into a giant pussy kicked in, he got a weird look on his face, backed up and started jamming the buttons. He made it about two steps out, and this time I got up the balls to stick my head out and look around. Nothing. The only working light seems to be the one in front of the elevator, and everything else is black.
It would happen one more time, this time with my ex, and that would be that. The night after that last happening, I was downstairs, alone, at night again and five opened. I just shook my head, muttered something like "Not this time, guys" and started pushing the buttons until something, anything else came down and opened up. A day or so later, my son was released and I haven't been back since. Don't ever plan to. Nah-uh.

But the tunnels seriously, spend a little time in them next time, but don't go alone.
YAWA, uh, I'm with whoever said roadtrip. You've got me interested, and if'n we've got an army...
Edit: Holy fuck, I didn't realize at all that there was a NASTY pun in the above. I'm so, so sorry.
I did. A group of 5 of us broke in through the maintenence building and used the tunnels to go around to a couple different buildings. It was freaky, i recommend everyone go there (in a group of course). It's really cool.Quote:

Check out the attic next time, though leave if any of you start getting bruises on you for no reason.

there is a childrens cemetary out in the middle of the woods in the middle of nowhere that has some pretty weird crap happen there. i mean you have to take this dirt road for like 5 miles to get there then walk up this path into the woods. from orbs that show up in photos and weird noises(like moaning). there are also this metal fence that surounds the place and you always see these glowing eyes. last time i was up there i took a pic of the woods. it was not foggy out and rainy or anything and this showed up in the picture. if you look closely there are faces in the mist. there was no mist when i took the photo....it showed up after. there is this huge cross at the top. i took a pic of that and orbs showed up in them. after that i got the hell outta there. i have a few others with orbs.
Franklin - Indian Rock - In the 1700's a group of settlers of the town slaughtered several Indians at a large rock on the highest point of the property. The spirits are rumored to still be inhabiting the area which includes a now vacant 100 plus year old mansion on the property. The former owners, two elderly sisters, that recently passed away used to call the local police about strange noises and people that were seen on the property and within the confines of the estate. Local authorities blamed their reports on early signs of senility.Quote:

Wish I could get some people up to goto the mental hopital here. From what I remember my other friends told me. They say the basement is where most of the freaky stuff goes on. They said the basement gets extremely cold the farther you go. They also told me about one room where you go in and nothing is in there cept a chair. You go in and turn your lights out and you'll hear that chair sliding around, turn the lights on and its right next to you.
There was some other stuff there, but I can't remember em all.
