I liked True Lies a whole lot, but that's really about it. I never really got into Terminator or his other films. I'd like to see him do a comedy, like a Meet The Parents style comedy.

And Astral, I hear you, man. But a reseller for Apple means that we have to charge tax to our customers. In the past month of September alone there were so many people who didn't want to pay the sales tax on their pricey Power Mac that they bought it online from a place outside the state and didn't pay sales tax.
I think I'll write to Arnold to clue him in on what Apple is doing to the businesses that barely kept them from going under back in the 90's. :)
Arnold is the MAN. He came to this country with nothing, became the greatest bodybuilder of all time, became the biggest action movie star of all time, and now is the Governor of California. The man achieves everything he sets out to do. He's amazing, and a huge inspiration. And I'm sure he'll bust his ass to fix things in California. He may not have the political experience (though he has been involved in politics for decades), but he has the drive and discipline to make a difference. I'd trust him a hell of a lot more than anyone else at this point. :) :)

Ok now i understand what you mean. I thought you meant Apple was chargng you sales tax and when people ordered online they didn't have to pay that tax, my bad. Ya Apple is way to expensive and unlike a pc you really can't put one together to save money.

Yea, you're right. The guy went from being a nobody immigrant to being one of the most famous people in the entire world, and now he's in the top spot in the most powerful state of the most powerful country in the world. Exactly. Arnold wouldn't have the same motivations that a "experienced career politician" would have. A lot of these guys enter politics at a local, nothing level with dreams of making a difference and, over time, are twisted and corrupted by the very system that they serve as they rise up through the ranks. Arnold is his own man, is starting at the top, used his own money to get elected, and will answer to no one. He's an outsider and, as such, probably has a better view as to what is actually wrong with California and how it is affecting its citizens than someone who's been in the thick all the political bullshit for years and years. He's the last person I'd expect to bow to the special interest groups.Quote:
