I think girls hit on you while you are dating is because most likely you are happier when you are with someone. They see that you are happy and they want in on that. Most girls naturally want a happy go lucky guy. A lot of girls don't know what they want in a guy, but they do know they like happy, and well if you got that, they can't go wrong with you.

There is a lot to be said with a natural desire to compete with other girls. Also, there is a thing about wanting what you can't have.

I still don't understand it... kinda sucks in my book.

dude what you say is so true for me. its like the girls smell when your unavailable and then theyre all over and the girlfriend gets pissed. the moment your single, they stop coming. its weird. but my girl once told me that most girls want what they cant have (and thats why they stay with the assholes, because they want a good relationship but wont have it with them.....weird logic) and when your taken they cant have you. its like a challenge type thing.

I have decided that this happens to every guy on Earth. What a bullshito catch-22 =P

When I was still it college it happened every so often. Always surprised me when it did. Now not so much, but then again I'm not out as much as I was before interacting with pretty much anyone outside of work and family.

I think there's actually been a few studies done on this, and supposedly there's some kind of scent you put out when you're with someone that girls can pick up on.

...or twice. You've probably brought it up more than I have. And that's only one of the reasons - I'm also so technologically inept that I don't have a picture of myself anywhere on my computer, and I'd prefer to keep myself anonymous because you never know what kind of raging psychos you meet over the internet (i.e. Shineaqua).
