That's unusual, with my company I always atleast have the clients work-in-progress page up so they can login to take a look at it. When you're charging that type of money, people like to see some type of ROI.

No way. $35/hr is less that the average hourly rate most places charge. When we were setting our rates I looked at gobs of places and then undercut 95% of them and still ended up over $35 (tho we give many discounts and are flexible). When I first started as a freelancer 4-5 years ago or I was getting $35 and it was considered pretty cheap even then (not to me tho, I was thrilled). I'd say the average is around $50 and plenty of big time places charge a *lot* more than that. How much do you charge?

$35 an hour freelancing is quite a bit below average, when you consider health benefits and all that (in the US of course :D). If you make that as a salary though, you're rocking out.

Freelance vs. fulltime are obviously totally different beasts though.

For my business, we charge quite a bit more, but we always strive to stay competetive. Interested parties are always welcome to contact me in private. *wink*

I get hit on older women as well more than the ones near my age. I dont look my age, I look younger..about 2-4 years younger.

I get hit on at work by girls that think im 20-21. I feel stupid every time i tell them im 17 by reflex. *Sigh*

I'm surprised at how many women I've talked to saying they don't like the muscular look too much, and prefer the thinner, more streamlined look (better for me!). I'm sure that's not the norm, probably just the cross section I've interacted with.
