I don't think doing the right thing is anything special or worthy of note.
I would like to know what you, NoFace (Since you seem level headed and not overly emotional about this) and others would do, in the situation I posted above:
You are in a bar.
You overhear a woman, talking about an affair she is having with her husband's best friend, that he doesn't know about. You catch her name, and can contact the man.
Would you tell him?
I'd extort sex from her in exchange for silence. I mean she sounds pretty easy to lay...
edit: just to be a semantics bitch, if you are considering doing what's right, doing the most aggregate good then I think that $600 would do a lot more for a student than it would for a large company.

However, what if your actions (as I said earlier in the thread) cost the person who packaged his order to lose their job anyway? You think the company you e-mailed wants this person to send out 12 copies of a game again by mistake? There is no way to say whether you helped or hurt the person responsible for the mistake. Think about that one.
They should at least get a second chance, but if we treat people the way you would treat them, their bosses will probably just fire them on the spot (where was mindfield's second (or first?) chance?)

Oh i'm not sleeping. I 've been working a night shift for a while. Well well, that's an interesting turn of events. For some reasons, people started arguying on morality and Matt felt the need to report this (and I repeat it) mistake on futureshop's part.
No I don't feel shitty, no I won't be in trouble...for what? Having received a package I did not order? I think we need to lighten up on the situation, and that includes you too Matt.
