If they knew about sending the extra copies? If they did it maliciously (trying to screw the company), then no, should caught they don't deserve a second chance. If it was an honest mistake, then I would like to think the company would grant them a second chance. I think a large majority of employes might stay quiet about the mistake if they knew about it... telling the boss you lost a thousand dollars in merchandise isn't exactly easy.
Anyway. My argumentative drive has left me. mindfield seems to be alright with the situation. My feelings haven't changed on the matter, but I felt like an injustice had taken place, and felt compelled to speak up on the matter. If I was out of line or offended anyone, I apologize. My aim was to illustrate how I felt, and not to belittle other's for their actions.
Moral of the story... if someone fuck's up and you benefit from it, share the fuck up only with those you know personally. And think if your actions will be hurting or helping others before you do them.
