Does being a Morality Policeman allow him to get one of them ever-so-nifty shiny badges?
I think his ignore list is hampering justice to be served in this case.
Sarcasim aside, I'm not forcing anyone to do anything, or forcing my morals on anyone.Quote:

And that's about the end of the topic.
There's a difference between spousal abuse and a guy thinking about keeping something that he didn't ask for.
There sure is.
In basic form, both are actions that directly affect another person (the wife, the shipper at the company) and I would feel compelled to act in either case.
That is the correlation.
When you eventually get a job, maybe you will develope some empathy.
Please let this thread die.
MVS, the last thing I want to see is someone lose their job over something as simple as human error. I'm saying that as someone who knows the price of that all too well. However, I don't think anyone should catch so much flak for simply saying that he got 11 extra copies of the game. Was it done in a bragging manner? Arguable point. With the pics being posted, it could be interpetted as bragging, or as simply offering proof to folks who might say that he was lying.
Ideally, he should contact Futureshop, let them know of their mistake, and see what they have to say about it. You did that for him, effectively doing it before he really had a chance to. I can see why you did it though, as there's a good chance he may never have.
First off, the guy shouldnt have posted this on a forum..
Second, if it was me I would have returned the games...
Third, it was none of MVS's friggen business...
The inevitable analogies during internet debates I don't mind so much -- but why do they always have to be such extreme, black and white examples?Quote:

Well, gee! If I saw a wheelchair-ridden grandma being beat upside the head with a kitten on my front lawn, you bet I'd do something! And not only does this prove my point, but I think you will find it makes me a fundamentally better human being as well. End of discussion.
Also, did it ever occur to anyone that the person who filled this order -- oops! -- x 12 might actually deserve to be held accountable for their own mistake?
Very true, this isn't some teenage cashier giving $10 too much change. Whoever filled the order did it with criminal intent to the company or is a complete retard. In either case I really don't think he/she deserves to get off the hook because someone reported his/her mistake.Quote:
