Video games don't depreciate. I'd have a hard time paying $200 for Radiant Silvergun again, given what you get (it's not my favorite game) - but if I wanted to play it again, I'd spend $200, play it for a few weeks, and then sell it for $200.
A month later, all I'd be out was the cost of shipping and EBaying it. Not much.
You can buy, play, and sell Radiant Silvergun for less than the cost of buying, playing, and selling most new games - on the average new game you buy and then sell, you're probably losing $20 off of the retail price, plus tax and EBay costs. Once you finish Panzer Dragoon Saga, you're probably not going to go back to it, so just buy it, play it, and move it. Share the love.
(Don't overpay for the game, though, $150 for Battle Garegga, goddamn, you shouldn't have had to pay more than $80.)
Rare games are expensive to collect - they aren't expensive to play. Back when I was collecting rare Saturn games, I think I came across just about every rare one, and the only ones I wish I still had are Battle Garegga (the best game evar0) and Sengoku Blade (I just like looking at the cover).
i've been looking to get some old rpgs (Persona 2 and BoF4 mainly) and i checked on that. Suikoden 2 still goes for about 50-100+. one guy has two seperate auctions for Suikoden 1 & 2, where the starting bid is in the hundreds. 2 in particular is starting at $256 w/ a buy it now of $356.Quote:

I'm sorry but what the shit people?
Anyone dumb enough to pay $200 for a Simpsons game that isn't the arcade beat-em-up deserves to be forced to only play Simpsons games.
Virtual Bart was shitty, too.
Yes, they can. Even old Saturn games. Soukyugurentai has fallen in price in the last 2 years, for example.Quote:
