Same thing happened to me, X2y. I traded in my used copy of SotN, which wasn't in the greatest condition, and got about $30 for it. I then took the cash and got a minty-fresh copy at Sam's for $14. :)

Why didn't people buy Valkyrie Profile and Suikoden 2 when they first came out and then discounted? From what I recall they never were big sellers.

You can never be 100 percent sure, but unique 2-D rpg PSX games with low print runs, are likely to be vauluable in the near future.
