All the people with problems with downloading torrents should try clearing the temp. internet files in IE. Something that seems to be a bug in how IE handles temp files when the maximum storage limit is reached seems to cause BT to foul up.

I tried it a while back and the fastest speed I could get was like 5kbps for a file that was apparently pretty widespread. What is the average speed you get for most files?
I typically get 50-80 KB/s. I get 180 KB/s if there are enough seeds and peers. Public trackers suck because everyone caps their uploads.Quote:

I usually get around 50-80, like basemies.

I use it for downloading new anime and it's great for that, and it seems like the perfect solution for sites that want to host big media files without totally owning their bandwidth (as long as seeds are available)
Until kazaa goes to their pay scheme and all the free music kiddies flock to new pastures :p
Trackers don't really serve anything, the only thing they do is coordinate the files seeders/leechers... But they do get hit hard when 400 people are leeching/seeding the same thing. :pQuote:
