I would. Then I'd sell it to some stupid kid for a dollar and go buy jawbreakers with my friends ChaoofNeey and ChaoofNeeee.Quote:

Not my work, but humorous.
Honestly, what price would I pay for an N-Gage? I wouldn't want to use it as a phone, and from what I can tell it's not compatible with Verizon service so I can't use it. I can't see paying $50 for it, even as a novelty. I think the price is actually about $20, sad to say. If I could use my Verizon service on it, I would pay $50 for it.
The N-Gage is like the 3DO, offering "3D!" when the competition is still 2D, but everyone can see that the real companies (with real support) have vastly superior 3D coming very soon for a fraction of the cost.
As stupid as the Virtual Boy idea was, this thing is much worse.
 at Chux's pic...
And RoleTroll, I like that analogy to the 3DO. Interesting at least.
Man I can't wait for them to publish numbers. I believe I read somewhere that later this week they're supposed to. I read their financial statement last week and the only thing they said about N-gage was the same "positive consumer response" bs and "outlook good for the holidays" crap. They're trying to hold onto their stock rating as long as possible, because on the whole they've done really well the past year. The N-gage is an embarrassment to them.Quote:

Nokia Disputes Weak Start For N-Gage
Officials from Nokia are claiming that the company’s N-Gage mobile phone/console hybrid has met with a “very positive” consumer response.
A statement from company CEO Jorma Ollila asserts "many outlets sold out of the device during the first day of release… Following on from this, we are seeing strong order intake from distributors and retailers."
However, the company has failed to release any sales figures – with the only unofficial figures being those from UK games retailers, which saw less than 500 units being sold in the launch week.
Hey, don't talk shit on the Spaceball 360. It was a fine product, just never got any real suport.Quote:

On top of that, some how the demo units got "locked" and whenever you go to start a game it goes back to the units main menu. For some reason Nokia still wants them left on until a rep comes to fix them so customers come in, get frustrated with them, and say they'll never buy one. It's great!
*Resists blowing up in anger at seeing Pandemonium mentioned as a PSX game when it was a PS1 game. Or did you forget that Sony is releasing the PSX in the near future?Quote:

I like you Jeremy, but this is one of your dumber posts.
Oh, BTW, did I mention that while playing Pandemonium, a Playstation original, the game would freeze on occasion and an icon that said "CHARGING" would appear on-screen? After a second or two, the icon would dissapear and the N-Gage would resume the game. WTF is that all about? Man, this thing is shit. I wonder if Tomb Raider, which was cool on PS1/PC/Saturn/amImissinganything, does the same thing?
Don't worry, TR does the same thing as all the other NG games do, suck.
Less than 5K for debut week.Quote:
