Shit, we had so much fun in those early days of AFO... it was pure madness. This is really the first XBL game to catch me too... I liked CvS, but got sick of it quick... and I really didn't want to play FPS's... but huge air battles... now that's the shit.
Now if only sega could make AFO 2 for the XB... that would make me a happy man.
Well I need to go to sleep. All I did today was work then come home and play Crimson for 5 hours straight. So much fun. And so different than the usual online games. I'm going to pimp the shit out of this game at work. Even offline it seems really enjoyable.
oh, and before anyone says anything,,,, FUCK YOU! I'm not and XBOX fanboy. :D I know someone will say something gay like that.
I got it last night. Fun, fun, fun. I am officially back on XBL, so be on the lookout for me.
This is a REALLY good game on Live, I played several 16 player matches & never noticed any lag or dropped players. It was really smooth, & I don't have the most impressive connection. Easily my most lag free XBL experience so far.

VERY tempted to get this game now - especially because of the LAG FREE part. Cap vs. SNK totally rubbed me the wrong way with its laginess - may pick this up on the weekend if Castlevania doesnt eat up my free time..Quote:

I now realize that I've been missing out on a lot of the single player game. While you can certainly hop from mission to mission, there's plenty of free-roaming play to be had. For instance, I had no clue that you can simply jack other people's planes, or rob and plunder all those fancy zepplins flying around. No mission required - just start stealing.
This is a shot in the dark, but has anyone here played the Crimson Skies miniature game?
I just love the idea of these games, but I'm deathly afraid of getting involved with them.
It's from Wiz Kids, and uses the same sort of rules and click system as Mech Warrior, HeroClix, and Mage Knight, all of which are outstanding games. I wouldn't hesitate to get into Crimson Skies, but sadly, my friends aren't into it anymore.Quote:
