Word at Cheapassgamer is that on the same week TRU will run the same deal, then next week will have it for PS2 and Xbox.

I love that deal. I also love how you can artfuly return all the games, and get money/credit for each one.

I can confirm this to be true at Toys R Us. We got next weeks ad today. Starting Oct 19th buy 2 Cube games get 1 free.

I'm not sure about the same deal for Xbox and Ps2 the week after though. I havent seen that ad.

TRU usually picks the worst ps2 and xbox games to do this sale on. Which makes sense, because when I worked at TRU and it was buy 2 get 1 free, TRU as a whole lost a TON of money.

The object is supposed to be to get people into the store, hoping they'll buy something else as well, but nobody ever does that.

EDIT: Here's the kicker, look closely and you'll see it's only on games 39.99 or lower. Which sucks for me, because I wanted to get Mario Golf. And also, why is TMNT listed for the NEOGEO??

For the last three years that the sales has been on in my area it's been on all games, not just a select few.

I believe the select few thing is just for Amazon (TRU).
