Tekken Beat Em Up

Quiter is reporting that Namco is making a Bouncer Style game starring Nina from the Tekken series.

here's a rough translation of what's on the site.

Quote:

Nina (Tentative name) (Namco, PS2, 2004 release)
- An action adventure game
- A game that looks kind of like The Bouncer and stars Nina from Tekken
- 30% complete

well, can't say that im not looking forward to this. beat em ups are one of my top 5 favorite genres, and it's being made by Namco so...oh yeah, i'm gonna be all over this one.

anyways, i hope it isn't just some Nina game, and let's you play as other characters (hopefully Kazuya, Ling, and Steve are all playable).

anyways, i think it's safe to say that the game will have cinemas. anyhow, if that's the case, i'd like the CG to be done by the Tekken team, and have it directed by the Time Crisis team (for comedy purposes).

im guessing we'll see something at TGS. anyways, here's hoping for the best.

Tekken beat-em-up could be cool, but I would've preferred if the focus was on another character who wasn't a Sarah Bryant-clone.

I was actually hoping that Dead to Rights was an unofficial Rolling Thunder sequel. Too bad it sucked.

i'd be a bit suprised if the game wasn't influenced by Force a tad bit.
