Pumping Iron 25th Anniversary Special Edition DVD

As far as I'm concerned, you're not a TRUE Arnold fan unless you've seen Pumping Iron, the documentary about his 1975 Mr. Olympia win. It's an amazing movie, and until now it's been very difficult to track down on VHS. Cinemax showed it several months ago, along with a newly created behind the scenes segment, and it appears that this, along with other extras, will be on the DVD. This one snuck up on me out of nowhere- I had no idea there was a DVD release planned. I guess Arnold becomming governor must have sped up the release plans. Whatever, I'm just overjoyed to finally have this classic on DVD.

Anyway, it's due out November 11th, and I'm buying it the day it's released. Click here to check it out.

Dude, you HAVE to see this! The movie is a blast, plus you get to see Arnold at his all-time biggest- the guy was a monster (I mean, look at his arm on the DVD cover!!). Arnold is hilarious during the whole thing- the way he psyches out poor Lou Farrigno (AKA The Hulk) is classic.

Arnold has to be some sort of extra-terrestial... there's no way a human could get that big.

I seen a bit of this. Lou Farrigno has the mind of a toddler. Arnie's story about how he tricked one contestant into losing is pretty funny. I just got too scared to keep watching these giant bags of meat saying stupid shit.

The cool thing about this movie is that it shows you how confident and intelligent Arnold is and how he used those attributes to get an additional edge over his fellow bodybuilders (like he needed an additional edge? His physique alone was more than enough).

Green, are you talking about the guy that Arnold "helped" with his posing routine? That story was hilarious. But that's nothing compared to the hell Arnold puts poor Lou through. The best part is when Lou and his father invite Arnold to breakfast before the contest in an attempt to psyche him out and Arnold turns it around and basically destroys Lou mentally, but in such a good-natured way that you can't help but laugh. Lou sitting there saying nothing while his father tries to defend him doesn't help. This movie made Lou look like a retard. :lol:

Oh thank god. The current price for this fucker was way to high.

You mean on VHS? How much was it going for? Best Buy lists the DVD at $14.99. Quite a bargin. :nod:

Also on the same day Pumping Iron is released (Nov. 11th), Terminator 3 (both the movie DVD and the game) are being released as well. Oh hell yeah. Arnold overload. I hope the game is good...Black Ops is making it, and they have a decent rep...

Some stores have broken the 11/11 street date...I just picked up a copy at FYE. :D
