Legion of Doom's Hawk passes away

He'll be missed, he was one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time, and had a decent amount of success as a singles wrestler as well. His Hellraisers team with Kensuke Sasaki was great as well. www.wrestlingobserver.com has a news piece on his passing, as well as nearly every wrestling site out there.

That's too bad.

Hawk and Animal were some of my favorite wrestlers growing up. I'm surprisingly saddened by this bit of news.

I loved the Legion of Doom and Hawk was my favorite of the pair. What a friggin bummer.

I used to LOVE The Road Warriors. I stopped watching wrestling when they left, before they came back as LOD.

I used to go to NWA shows in Philly with my face painted like Hawk, almost 20 years ago. I'll post a pic if I find one.

I loved Hawk when I was young, Legion of Doom were one of my favorite tag teams growing up along with Demolition. I can't believe Hawk's dead at 45 and Miss Liz died earlier this year also in her early 40's. That is far too young to go :(

Yeah, I think I remember 'em somewhat. I forget when it was I stopped watching wrestling, but I did during their time in my younger years. Last I remember of WWF was when Owen Hart got killed. Eh, well, not much to say, cept noting several stars I grew up with all seem to be biting the dust this year =\.

I rember the WWF bringing them back for a bit, and doing a realy shitty bit involving Hawk being drunk, and faling off of the Titan Tron, or something.

Unfortunatly this is the strongest memory I have of LoD. :(
