I'm pretty sure everyone knows what it means to be O/C. Anyone who doesn't can be filled in later. What I'm wondering is who on here considers themselves to have any sort of O/C styles of behavior. It could even be something you just do a lot and think it might be O/C. We already know Shine's deal with annoying Lhadatt and Icepick's thing for golddiggers, but everything else is up for discussion.

Personally, I think that I might be O/C about washing my hands. It's not that I think they smell or look dirty, they just FEEL dirty. And I've noticed over the past six months that the amount of time my hands have the "clean" feeling is growing less and less. I wash my hands like fifteen times a day now. It's crazy.

When you start wearing gloves all the time, let us know. Then we can really call you crazy.

Same here. I wash my hands like 10 times a day.

I'm moderately o/c. I'm really picky about things being clean and organized. I kinda get upset when people mess with my organization. Like my dvds. I try to keep everything alphabetized by genre and keep everything neatly lined on the shelf, but sometimes people move them around or mess up the line and I get a little frustrated. So I have a slight case of it.

I'm repulsed by coins. I can't eat around them, and I'm very uncomfortable in rooms or cars that have piles of them around or on the floor. I usually don't accept change, or I give it to people I'm with or throw them on the ground once I'm outside.

I have gotten a little bit better in handling them, and the need to wash my hands after contact isn't as immediate.

I am, in ways.

I have the hand washing thing, but I also have to quickly apply lotion to my hands after I've washed them. I HATE the feelings of my hands after washing if I don't have any hand lotion, especially when touching paper products and other such things.

I'm obessive about locks. Actually, I'm getting better about it, as I'm not as bad as I used to be, but I certainly still do it. I used to check a lock four or five times before I could be comfortable that it was locked properly. I'd lock the front door before bed, get into bed, get back up, check the lock, jiggle the handle to make sure it is secure, stuff like that.

I'm also obsessive about order, but exactly when and with what is really hard to figure out. For example, if I put CDs away in a box, anything goes, but when I put them on my shelf, they have to be in a certain order. The problem there is that the order isn't always the same. Sometimes it gets so bad that I'll sort, for example CDs, by label color, and THEN alphabetically. My Dreamcast games, for example, are always sorted first by color, to keep spine colors together, and then alphabetically. I also tent to make sure DVDs and CDs are properly oriented when putting them in their case. (So that the text on the disc is at proper reading angle.)

If I'm writing something, and I make a mistake, if I don't throw it away and start again, it REALLY bothers me. For example, if I'm writing a letter to somebody, and the text smears a little, I'll do it all over again, even if the note was 100% readable. I can't stand to have anything that I've written look bad if it is something that I'm taking more than a few moments with. A quickly scrawled note about getting milk, for example, I don't fret over, but I still tend to write even those kinds of notes nice and neat.

I don't know if this really falls under OC, but I won't let people watch me do any kinds of bathroom activites. NO, not THOSE kinds of things - I mean things like shaving, brushing my teeth, brushing my hair, whatever else. I don't care if it's my wife (not that I have one) who I've done sexual things with that would make a hooker blush - she still can't see me shave.

I'm sure I've got a few others.

Also, I drink at least a glass of water after eating/drinking ANYTHING. I can't have any taste left in my mouth except water. Odd, I used to never drink water up until about a year and a half ago.

Im bad about the hand washing thing, I must wash mine between 15-20 times a day.. my hands dry out so much from washing them that I need to use lotion which then gets washed off shortly thereafter...

I even need to wash my hands sometime before ill go to the bathroom.


As far as locks.. me too... I have to lock the doors.. tug and wiggle on them and check all the windows before i go to bed...

I'm normal about everything except large, round breasts. Those mess with my mind and make me...unsmart.
