B.A. (English, French), Amherst College, 1999
J.D., University of Arizona College of Law, 2003
I'm done with school for awhile. Someday I'd like a master's degree, maybe once I get tired of lawyering. I still see myself as a teacher at heart.

Here is my shedule this semester:
Abstract Algebra, Axiomatic Geometry, Analytical Mechanics, Model Building.
And next:
Algebra 2, Advanced Calculus (Analysis), Intermediate Symbolic Logic, Electricity and Magnetism.
Any input on the classes I'm taking next semester would be beyond awesome. Are there any other math majors on the board??
Phsyics course? E&M was one of the hardest classes I've ever had to take ... actually had to take it twice. Unfortunately, I had the same (bad) teacher twice. While interested in physics, I found E&M very abstract and hard to wrap my brain around ... and a lot of work. Where I took it, there was a more than 50% failure rate or something absurd like that. I found Waves & Modern Phsyics to be much more interesting and fun.Quote:

So, I suppose nothing is up with me and school.
This is depressing.
Prince Planet, anyone else from UCLA is cool in my book.
Noboru, anyone else studying mathematics is cool in my book... as long as you're not "that guy" in class...
B.A. in secondary teaching of English
M.A. in teaching English as a second language
Both from Inter American University here in PR.
I want to start my Ph.D but all the colleges here offer only liguistics (my M.A, is basically applied linguistics) and I want something literature related.
B.A. in South Asian Languages(Hindi, Sanskrit) from University of British Columbia.
I hate school and I never want to go back but since my life is going nowhere, I still might go back to school somewhere.
It disturbed me when someone from high school recently called me about a reunion. I have no desire to go see any high school people again except for the few I already keep in touch with.
John Abbott College, Pre-U Creative Arts/Letters & Languages.
