New Panzer Dragoon Orta Screens
Damn Sega, I Really didn't want to have to fork out another $500 for a system and accessories but it looks as if I'm going to have to now that I've seen this and HotD3....damn, damn, damn....
Oh my. I am absolutely thrilled about this game. It looks better than I expected. Being a fan of the Saturn "trilogy," I cannot wait to try this one out E3, if it's playable.
The atmosphere seems to have retained that quality of mystique-- the organic-futurism found in the earlier games seems to have carried over. I hope we will get to hear some more of that pseudo Germanic-Japanese-Latin language, which I've always found fascinating.
I will only say this: WHEN IS THE REALEASE DATE DAMNIT!!!
from the MagicBox
Hopefully we'll see near simultaneous releases, with Gamecube and PS2 ports come Spring :pQuote:
, this time the game will have 10 stages, each with multiple paths. The dragon can learn new special attacks and techniques during the game, and the story of the game may branch out depending on the number of attacks and techniques the dragon learned. Panzer Dragoon Orta is scheduled for a fall release.
I want this game. But just a little. Oh screw it, who am I kidding...
GIVE!!
I'm really excited now hat these images have come out, -it really does appear to hold true to the "trilogy's" character and atmosphere.
From MagicBox's description, Orta sounds to be a deffinate sequal to Zwie as far as play mechanics go, excellent!
The anticipation builds as I'm waiting to hear an announcement of online cooperative play. Imagine that second shot above with all three dragons being controlled by players! And what about squadrons of Dragoon riders communicating over a mic to plan the attack on an Empirial minning facility.
Ooooh!,
