Well, it's my day off and normally I have a few people I could kick it with but it seems everyone is working today except for me and well, I am going to be bored out of my mind. So if any is/was in my situation, how do you make the most out of the day by yourself?
What to do...day off...TNL...
Play videogames seems like a logical answer.

s'funny, but when I'm home alone (which is a rare luxury since I'm married with child), I'm not really in the mood to play games all day like one would suspect. It's especially difficult when everyone else is at work or school.
I usually spend my day off on the computer for a couple hours, get tired, nap. Wake up, do errands I would normally do on weekends (wash clothes, pick up around the house, wash car), play games for a little while and then go back on the computer. Of course, Springer and Judge Mathis must not be missed.
Before I know it, it's 3pm and the day pretty much seems to zoom by at that point. Granted, this isn't the routine for every day off that I have, but more often than not, this is how I spend my day.
Ah, but I do relish the time alone, though..

You should take a long drive through a quiet area. That's always a good start to a day. From there, you should have a clear mind to figure out what you want to do next.
Could always watch the grossly editted Friday the 13th "marathon" on Spike TV...
I love having a whole day for myself.
Things I like to do when home alone:
Draw
Read
Play videogames
Watch movies/anime
Do wash (well, I don't like it, but it's gotta get done)
Go on little road trips
Go shopping for stuff
Shave my privates
Dissect midgets to see how they work
Are they doing the commercials for the marathon where Jason is running in an actual marathon and chopping off the hands the guys that pass out the water cups? I though those commercials were hilarious...Quote:

A light warm up, then a nice long stretch, for about 30 - 45 minutes so all the muscles get nice and warm and pliable, then maybe some martial arts or something, then after all that a nice hot bath.
If I were back in illinois, I'd cut down a few buckthorn trees, maybe go for a nice drive around town too. Laundry. A nice loooong nap, a leisurely dinner, maybe go out and get chili-cheese dogs/burgers/fries/shakes, then a movie too followed by a trip to the library or book store if they're still open, and then perhaps bed.
There's always the zoo.

Fight with my girlfriend because I don't wanna spend my day off from my restaraunt working in her restaraunt.
I tell the fam to go watch a movie and I stay home, the only light emanatin being the computer or the TV. Which reminds me, I haven't watched any TV in the longest time.
I have been off work for two days.
I have done nothing but play rock music, and try to fix up my car.
I hate working.
What do you do?
On an ideal weekday off, I'd like to:
sleep in until 9-10AM
workout
get high
do some random shooting with my Canon GL2
fuck around on Acid Pro
watch a movie (home or theater)
grab dinner w/some friends
play videogames
watch TV until it's time to conk out
If I won the lottery, I'd throw in some traveling, but otherwise my weekdays would pretty much stay the same.

sleep in. make sure you jog and do some exercise. relax. eventually see a significant other if you have one.
