Console wires *UPDATED with pics

I just took some pics of my entertainment center and all the wires from the consoles and what not make it look horrible. I've got 10 consoles on my entertainment center (plus 2 tvs, vcr, and home theater system) so you can bet the wires are prob. I know a lot you guys have setups so how do you deal with the wires? I'm thinking of using wire tubing (here )

Sorry if this doesn't belong in gaming discussion but I figured since this deals with console and we have a set up thread then why not :sweat:

Wire tubing is a great idea if you plan on leaving your setup in the same place for a long time. Otherwise, it becomes an annoyance if you are constantly taking the tubing on and off.

I used to have that stuff on my Atari 2600 wires :)

There's a link/ad on Penny Arcade for that wire tubing stuff. It'd probably be your best bet for organization. It just takes a long time to get everything organized. Take everything out, clean up, get it set and put it back.

$6.77 for 10 feet? Seems a bit pricey, when my store used to do Car install work we would buy 100 foot rolls for like $20-30 bucks...

The "industry" term for it is Wire Loom...

They also sometime refer to it as "Split loom"

I found it all over the net, the price isnt that bad I guess, but you can even get it in almost any color..

Split loom is the way to go. It can be had easily at Radio Shack.

Just stick your wires behind stuff. Worked for me...

Damn straight. I'm looking at the stuff right now at work. Five bucks for five feet of the wider stuff. Looks nice, too.

Got some wire loom and went to work, not the most professional work but a world better....

My optical cord is short, I need to get a new one before I can hide it.
