I've always wanted to get into VO more... These Twin Sticks will definitely bring me closer... I just need a damn TC3 (but the SS version should hold me for a while..)

I snagged my VO twin sticks (Saturn) several years back for twenty bones when Japanese retailers were clearing them out for next to nothing. Next up, TC so I can play VO:OT.
And yes, the box is sexy.

you know whats really sad? back in the day NCS basically bought stock in the saturn sticks expecting them to fly off the shelves. they didnt....and they were price dropped to a few dollars....still didnt sell and they sat in a warehouse getting all "moldy and dusty" so they basically just threw them all out to save space. imagine the loot one could have had off ebay nowing what we know today. it's sad really.
i used to play the netlink version all the time back in the day. the bad thing was that the modem was direct dial and there were only 2 other people in my city that had one...and the good thing was that it was direct dial. on any of the netlink games there was simply NO LAG at all. you couldnt tell you were playing against someone across town. there were no warping cars in daytona.....the games were just flawless. the biggest mistake was that they make duke nukem a net link game but not Quake :( and i believe you can still Netlink since there were never any servers....so why dont you all go out and buy the damn things for $5 on ebay and well start a Netlink revolution :)Quote:

Are there online strategy vdeos of this game anywhere online? Because I seriously get the feeling that I'm missing a whole lot in this game, and there aren't any VO:OT machines in this city that I know of, only VO:OM.

Can you direct dial with netlink VO out of state and if so any lag with that?
