The man broke down. They should leave him alone. Its not as if he turned around after seeing the corpse and put a bullet into the nutz of his commanding officer!
What a bunch of bullshit. Leave the guy alone.
What a joke.
And he could executed for this?
:\
He wouldn't get death for that, that's just sensationalism. That said, these charges need to be dropped, imo.
Getting all distraught over a corpse when you're in the Army is like getting all distraught over a dick when you're a porn star.
This has to be a joke. So I would have a problem with seeing dead people; I would probably get sick and whatnot if I were forced to see a dead person, especially someone cut in half. If I were in the Army, I could be accused of COWARDICE for that? That's such bullshit. There's no way this story can be real, especially if they're saying that the punishment is death.
still though.....five years of decent service and them wham!
He has a problem....he tried to deal with it....they couldnt or didnt help. Then they beat him up legaly. Not cool
There's a difference between just seeing a corpse and seeing one that has been cut in half.
When you sign up for the Army you sign up for the whole shebang. Yes, yes, I know, thats a generic answer but the fact of the matter is that in this country it is a volunteer Army, nobody forces you to sign up, and you gotta be prepared for that shit or who knows what else.Quote:

Does he deserve to be executed for this? Absolutely not. I figure that you can be executed for cowardice if, say, you didnt do your duty and ran away instead and then your entire squad ended up getting slaughtered, or something. But still if he was unable to complete his duties as a soldier something should be done.
p.s. and yes I am going to join the Army after Im done with school so nobody drag out the "why dont YOU join then" response.
