Fine, you are fans of the little elves who created the splendiferous Star Wars universe.
I think Kevin Smith, Gabe at Penny Arcade, and I are the only sane SW fans left.

I just think he should honor the original work that millions of people fell in love with. It wouldn't be hard (or maybe it would be if the rumor that he destroyed the originals were true) hard to put them out, and he'd make more money. It's a win/win situation, it seems very strange that he'd not do it.
So in your eyes you can't enjoy something if you don't like the person that created it?Quote:

Haoh claimed Lucas had no respect for his fans. I gave him a counterexample.Quote:

Instead of, "I prefer the pre-SE trilogy," it's "I hate Lucas for not giving me what I want."
It's silly.
Apples and oranges. If someone fucked with my movie after I was dead, I would object.Quote:

Lucas is a jackass. *looks around* oh, shit I got here too late. :(
Actually, that's not what I said. I said he's alienating his fans by not releasing the original versions of the film. I also said that the SE's don't bother me. For the most part, I enjoyed the additions that were made.Quote:

I mean, do a limited release of the original films and then do the bells and whistles SE versions with commentary, bonus materials, etc...
Or, release them all on a special set. Just RELEASE it. Or is he going to wait for the 30th Anniversary in '07? =P
Cheer up! Lucasfilm will probably be bankrupt by the time these DVDs are supposed to release!
Really? Why?
Because Ep 2 was awful and people are all going to wake up and learn how to avoid sequels to really shitty films.
I hope.
That won't happen unless everyone who seen the first two movies demand their money back, Episode 3 isn't coming out till 2005.
