the grocery store!
i just got back from there. bought lots of sandwitch stuff. delli meat, bread, tuna.....i like sandwitches. every so often i'll buy some steak or chicken an' make a nice dinner for myself but that's not the case this evening. for some reason i always walk through the icecream isle and look at all the different flavors. i'm lactose intollerant. i guess i just like to imagine buying loads and eating a whole container. oh, an' there was a cute girl in that isle as well. that's another cool thing about grocery shopping, cute chicks. anyway, what d'you buy when you shop for food?

Whatever's on sale.
But really my list consists of a couple things:
01. Frozen pizza.
02. Orange juice
03. This cut-rate iced tea they sell
04. cheap frozen meat
05. pasta of some sort
06. Met RX protein bars. Best price I've found for these is Rite-Aid.
06. Cheap beer. The cheapest beer possible. Im talking 12 pack for four, five bucks.

I wish I could buy beer at the supermarket... :(

It just depends on my mood and who all I'm cooking for.
Most of the time I'm checking the fish for some ideas for supper. Shrimp, salmon are always good and easy to fix up.
Sometimes I get chicken breasts and some pasta to go with it. Tomato paste and maybe some other ingredients that I don't have to finish a dish.
I need to goto the grocery store right now, but I'm saving money for tomorrow's concert. I sure would like to have some boneless chicken breasts, stuffed with thinly sliced ham rolled with thin sliced white cheese and parsley or cilantro. Breaded with a herb bread crust.

you can buy beer at the supermarket if you live in virginia. heh, i remember partying with some friends in arlington an' goin' to the cvs down the street to get beer and whine coolers. it was awesome.

My local Aldi sells canned goods like spaghetti n meatballs or ravioli which comes at .49 a pop. That came in handy for work, otherwise I'd have to keep pulling up for drivethrough. :yuck:
Even broke, I can still afford it.

I try to hit Albertsons out here. The one near me in the LBC is nice and clean and all of that. Back in CT I went to Super Foodmart, owned by A&P and also to Stop & Shop. S&S was a great place. When I go to the store, I usually get the stuff I need: ramen, milk, cereal, steak. If I need toothpaste or something along those lines, I'll get that at the store, too.
