where and when do you get the tech telekenisis?
You had to get the final dungeon in less then 12 hours or it disappears. When I don't know but it (along with some great armor) can be purchased inside the secret shop in Necrohal Nabudis. When you come in from the south (Salikawood) the first long hallway that goes north leads to a room not on the map, inside there is the shop.Quote:

I was very happy to see the matching helmet I wanted on sale there as a bonus.
For the Necrohol Nabudis, I came in from the north, so I had to search alllll arooooound the whole place for that secret shop, and it was so close to the Salikawood ;____;. Never really needed Telekinesis because I just bust out Holy for flying monsters now. Before, I'd just let Fran take care of them alone.
Okay, you guys are obviously playing this damn thing more than I am. I have a couple of questions that GameFAQs sucks at answering and answers would be lovely.
• Are certain Quickenings only for certain characters? Fran was really close to Feral Beating whatever the hell and I got it before I saw Basch was closer to it. Izzat bad?
• Whenever I set a Steal Gambit, the character just stands there and steals constantly. I even tried setting it to Enemy HP = 100% and all. Is there ever a "DO IT UNTIL IT WORKS YOU FUCKING IDIOT" Gambit target?
• I see all of the possible customization. However, it is not always apparent which character is better for which "role" in the party. Does really even matter?
For stealing: I do one character steal=foe HP 100% and then below it attack for whatever. The other two characters attack. Chances are one of them will hit and your stealer won't sit there and keep stealing off of the same guy, he'll move onto the next enemy that is at full HP that your other two haven't hit yet. You still might need to tell him to stop and attack though. Stealing gambits suck since you can't say 'only try this once' or whatever.
As for 'party roles' whatever you notice works. Some obviously have better magick stats (Fran) so they're better healers, and those with less defense naturally should stick to ranged weaponry and have Protect cast on them often. Just experiment with weapons to see what fits best for your play style, it doesn't make a huge difference.
Awesome. Thanks. I just wanted to make sure that once I start down one path, I'm not screwed because I didn't see that Vaan has excellent cockmancery skills or whatever.
 No, not at all. I never used Balthier because he was poo to me with his guns, and I wasn't huge into crossbows, but once I gave him a 1H sword and Haste he became my A-team second in command. He has comparatively low MP and magick skill than Fran so he's not the best healer, but his speed is pretty nice. Same with Basch, I switch him around from Axes to Greatswords to Spears all the time for variety. You're never stuck going down one path (unlike in FFX where you could get screwed by going the wrong way on the sphere grid).
Good. I did nearly shoot myself in the foot when I spent all of Vaan's LP on Accessories and forgot to let him use that Iron Sword that I stole off of that bat. Lord knows how the bat got it in the first place, but anyhow, I was wondering why the Battery Mimics were kicking my ass until I realized Vaan was attacking them with the Mythril Blade he had since the beginning of the game.
No advice on Quickenings, though?
