So what? Didn't you see my levels listed earlier? Three people at 60+ and the others at like 20 or so. One team = no issue.

Never flee and I often killed everything (at least to help flesh out the enemy list).

You're just digging a deeper hole. If you start off having trouble and then keep go deeper in while not improving... well, uh, yeah.

I've been taking my time and enjoying it. Going after every hunt, trying to complete my kill quotas for the little blurbs in the bestiary, etc.

As soon as one of my dudes level I swap him for someone else, keeping them all at the same range.

I've got the exact same party of Vaan, Fran, and Basch as Tain does. I've level'd Balthier up a bit, but screw the other 2. If you could swap the others in nice and quick like FF10 I'd use em more. Its too tedius to go into the party menu and swap people around.

My party was Ashe, Balthier, Fran.

Man that second fight with Gilgamesh was pretty tough. My party was Blathier 51, Ashe 55, Fran 56. I used a few hi-ethers and one elixer, for the last fight I had to pull about 8 crappy quickening chains cause I had bad luck, until finally got some mist charges and finished him off with an 11 chain.

Of course I was. The whole problem was that it finally cought up to me.

I think I'm the only person who plays the game with equal party members. I don't really do the A-team/neglect others path. When I beat the game there was no more than a 3 level difference between any two characters. Right now I'm leveling in groups every 5 levels as I go around doing Hunts and trying to get one more damn Esper so I can get to the Henne Mines stuff.

I took a break from this game (real life + Wii launch), all my characters have been and will not be more than one level apart. Then again, I'm kinda crazy like that. :\

I can't deal with characters being miles apart. I usually keep it in the 3-4 range depending on what I'm doing.

I basically play with two teams...my leader (Vaan/Balthier) is the thief/secondary attacker/cure spammer after battles, my mage (Penelo/Fran) focuses on healing and buffing, leaving Ashe/Basch perpetually Berserked and well...killing machines with little to no help from me. When one team levels, the other goes in (although when it comes to tough fights, all hands are on deck).

Nah, I played like that to precision. If one person leveled up one above the rest, they're kicked out until everyone else catches up.
