Stand-up comics of yesterday

I've spent the last few days listening to acts from Bill Hicks, Bill Cosby, and Richard Pryor. It's a shame that Hicks and Pryor can't perform anymore (due to death and MS respectively,) and Cosby just doesn't as far as I know. By far my favorite is Bill Hicks, especially when he gets on the topic of drugs and music, "Suck Satans Cock" is the greatest stand-up routine ever. Pryor on the topic of his own addiction is great, and Cosby, though the weaker of the three, is just plain good. Any comics you wish were still performing? Any of these you like or dislike?

Lenny Bruce is awesome, even if his style and delivery are considered somewhat dated by today's standards.

Though Bill Hicks died nearly ten years ago, all of his albums sound like they could have been recorded today. Granted ten years isn't a staggering amount of time, it's great to see that even today people are picking up on Bill Hicks' brilliance.

Sam Kinnison, he was hilarious with the screaming.

You kidding?! I grew up listening to his stuff. Even dead networks were playing his stuff. Hicks was also good for his views on the south, religion, and Kennedy. He's even better than Maher and Carlin in alot of ways.

I do a great impression of Richard Pryor. Anyone got any alcohol and a lighter?

Bill Cosby still performs, Im seeing him on Saturday at my school.

"Clam Lappers & Sonic the Hedgehog" is my favorite Bill Hicks bit.
