Jackson's Neverland Ranch Searched by Police
BREAKING NEWS: Various news outlets on Tuesday reported that Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch near Santa Barbara was "swarmed" by policemen in conjunction with an unspecified criminal investigation. Santa Barbara police served a search warrant at the singer's sprawling compound at 8:30 a.m. PST, with more than 20 investigators arriving to inspect Jackson's $12 million home; two hours later, the search was still reportedly underway. While a prepared statement from the Santa Barbara police and district attorney's offices would not specify anything further than an "ongoing criminal investigation," Court TV reported on its web site that the search was in connection with abuse allegations brought forward by a 12-year-old boy (a charge that the Associated Press said it could not yet confirm). Jackson's spokesperson, Stuart Backerman, issued a short statement saying the pop star and his three children were not at the ranch but are currently residing in Las Vegas, where they have been living for three weeks while Jackson films a video. Backerman declined further comment on the search, citing a lack of information about the investigation. The search comes on the same day as the release of Jackson's greatest-hits compilation, Number Ones.
Geez, if he's not copping a feel he's dangling them out of windows. I don't care if this latest allegation is true or not, this man is a freak and should never be allowed near children ever again.
