Personally I'm begining to gain a great level of respect to Chick-fil-A. Every toy in their kids meals has educational value to it, and though some are nothing more than DK books, they do often get a rare gem in something that is educational, fun, and cool.
I noticed that about chick-fil-a . I was also very impressed. My fave toys are usually at McD's or Wendy's.
Wendy's just got the new looney toon movie toys. We have a bobble head tweety, a passport(which I love), a magnetic taz, and a bugs magnet puzzle.

McDonald's had awesome Transformers toys. They win. Also, they had the Super Mario toys from 1988 that still own.
I live in Mass now, and as few Chick Fil-A restaurants as we had in PA, we have less here. Never seen one of their kid's meals, but I miss their sandwiches like you wouldn't believe. Same with Arby's and the chicken at Long John Silver's. And getting a big greasy Grand Slam at Denny's, and... oh, bother. I miss the disgusting fast food comforts of home.
Anyway, I gotta go with McDonalds. They've had killer toys in the past. Mario, Sonic, awesome stuff. But nothing comes close to the transforming McDonalds food robots. I have tons of those in my basement. As a little kid, those were some of my favorite toys, hands down. Sure my parents were thrilled about that after shelling out for Transformers, He-Man, Dino Riders, etc.
But great stuff. Made shoveling down disgusting chicken nuggets into something of an adventure! By the way, discovery I recently made: their new nuggets are not merely edible, but are actually good! Shocked the hell out of me. Still won't eat anything else there, beyond the fruit and yogurt parfait. My mom cracked a molar on a piece of bone in a Big Mac and McDonalds didn't want to settle for what we wanted, that is, the price of dental surgery. Since then the idea of eating much there turns my stomach, heh.
But yes, the toys. McDonalds had damn good shit.
Best pack-in toy ever was McDonald's spring-loaded Goomba. Fucking awesome.
Ha. I remember that. Those were the days.
Anyone remember the guy with a moon for a head on a red motorcycle? I recall liking that one a whole lot.
I remember him on a cloud playing the piano...
McDonalds truly owned back then. Those Happy Meal boxes were sometimes better than the toys.
I remember those Ghostbusters cartoon education toys McDonalds had. Those rocked.
And the Moonman commercials owned.
Mac Tonight. I had the one with him in a Jeep.
But man, BK had some great Dexter's Laboratory toys a couple months ago! Too bad their Nintendo ones sucked, though.
I remember loving the Hot Wheels cars that McD's had in the early '90's when I was a little tike. That was back when Happy Meals were about $2 and came in a box. Those were the days...
Nowadays, when getting fast food, I much prefer Hardee's to any of the other burger joints. Thickburgers own (your cholesterol level, too).
McDonalds but when they sold Nintendo toys. It friggin ruled, I still have my Mario Bros.3 Racoon Mario on spring. 1337.
