Starting to? I've hated Tom Cruise forever! Terrible actor! Although, he was tolerable in this film, which I loved.

This was the deal breaker for me. I thought for sure that they would cave in and have him screw her. It would have been so friggin' wrong. I loved the scene where Taka was putting her dead husband's armor on him... like, you could almost see and feel what she was thinking - the memory of doing this for her husband - and then that brief, fleeting touch of their lips. That was class. A+ for that scene and the stuff with the cherry blossoms.

The scene with the Cherry Blossoms at the end would have had more impact (to me) if he didn't say anything... the expression on his face was enough.

btw... best movie I have seen in a long, long time.

I agree. Expressions or actions speak louder than words I guess you can say in that instance. What an awesome metaphor though.

Agree. I saw ROTK last night, and while it was a decent movie, it wasnt as good as LS, in both drama and action.
