Weird ways to cook food

Not a weird way of cooking food, but a weird way of starting the grill...

Our starter crapped out, and we had no matches or lighter. So what I did was hunt around the yard for a stick that was dry enough (it just rained), and then lit the stick on the heating elements of the kitchen stove. Then I had to run outside before the semi-wet stick went out, turn on the gas, and shove the stick in the grill. After 1/2 an hour of attempting that, it finally lit. :)

Doesn't sound too bad... I hickory smoke my Turkeys every year... about to get started on it. Yay for slow cooking.

I guess we Texans think alike, but I'll do ya one better ;)

We actually have a small TURBO CONVECTION oven which is just absolutely incredible for reheating pizzas. It does it in only 5 minutes and 40 seconds (no need to preheat since it heats up so fast), and it comes out even better than when it's delivered...

Also, it's probably a cultural thing but my family likes to buy these special Asian bannanas and fry them in a pan, then sprinkle with sugar. Been eating them since I was a kid, my mom makes them from time to time, great stuff :)

Ive grilled frozen pizza.

Heck, Ive grilled just about anything.

I agree 100%. To me there's simply no other way.

Pizza reheated in microwave = mushy unedible crap.
