how long should he have stayed, he had to high tail it before every man with a koran and a singer missle was aiming for everything in the air, be it a duck or air force one. hell, syria and iran would have probably tried to get in on the act. Yeah, it was a photo op, but a lot of the soldiers they interviewed seemed to appreciate the gesture, so there ya go.

Er no. The visit was 100% for his own needs, and the entire terrible situation was his doing in the first place. I'd respect a president who didn't put our country in this predicament in the first place. It's like respecting the drunk driver who visits the girl he paralyzes in the hospital.

Wow, alot of you sound like fucking idiots.

I don't see what the problem here is. Sure is was a PR stunt, but a lot of the troops probably appreciated the visit. I know I would if I was in their situation. And I believe the reason he stayed for about two hours was so he could fly back and have dinner with his family. Could be wrong.
