Web hosting.

Has anyone had good experience with a particular web hosting company?

I've mostly been looking at http://www.ipowerweb.com/ ... Their 12 month and 24 month package deals are pretty decent. 800MB is a perfect amount of space, plus the 40GB transfer ain't too shabby, either. I want at least 600+ MB of space so I can host a couple larger videos and whatnot at a time [100-200 MB each.]

I would recommend Hostica.

800 megs for $8 a month? That is fat. I'd be hesitant just because places with deals like that usually have crap service. My host gives 200 megs for $10 a month, but the customer service is solid gold. www.affordablehost.com

they really are good.

5 GB a month and .99 for each GB over per month. You can set a cost limit so that you do not incur too high a charge on accident. They proivde you with SSH access and plenty of hosting space. It's also free for 3 years. After that 3 year period you're at 5 bucks a month or could go all the way up to 70 a month if you want a pure dedicated server. Thier customer service is top notch especially since I'm not paying (except the 6 bucks I gave them for the domain name).
