I'm new to making threads, so let this one die if it has been done, or is innapropriate. What do you think is the hardest part of any game. My award would have to go to rugal in kof2002. He just destroys me soo often. Incredible priority + rediculus damage = death

The driving scene in Total Recall for NES. I have a friend who can beat that game on command, but he'll waste almost all his lives on this one, awful scene.

That would have to be getting the Invincible cheat in Goldeneye. I practiced that for 5 days until I finally got it down. I finished the mission on the SECOND I needed to. What was it, 2 minutes 12 seconds on 007 mode?Quote:

That's the only way I've ever played that stage. I consider it one of my favorite boss fights ever. Found out about using flash man's power up kind of recently and was kind of dissapointed though I opted not to use it when I played the game again a few months ago.
-Rugal in KOF2k2. I thought he'd just be a wimpy bitch like he was in '98 but unless I have Vannessa or Ralf I can barely even touch him. the fact that he regenerates so much health after a match is the real killer, you pretty have to take him out in one shot
The part in Mega Man 3's Wily castle where you had to fight bosses from the past games. Just totally brutal.
I know all I ever talk about anymore is Bemani but.... "V" another (or any of several of those flashing 7 songs actually) in IIXD 6th Style. I don't think I will ever, ever, ever be able to pass that in my entire life. Right now it looks to me like the hardest task to accomplish in the world of video games.
I also can't imagine myself beating the heavy steps or challenge steps to Max. (period) in DDR Extreme anytime soon. The sight reading in the 600 BPM part is just too fast to register. And even when I do clear that hurdle, it will take months for my fat ass to work up enough cardio endurance to not keel over and die. I could pass Max 300 right now if my stamina didn't give out halfway through. Max. (period) is about 3 times the workout. I don't want to even think about any of the oni courses that contain 10 footers or flashing 10 footers. If I ever do beat Max. (period) some time in the distant future, no way am I ever going to beat it without missing more than 4 steps.
For a more traditional challenge, I imagine it would be damn hard/near impossible to beat either Battletoads NES or Super Ghouls n Ghosts on one life. It's hard enough to beat either of them at all. :p
