Well, outside of Castlevania: LoI, which still wasn't perfect, but leaps and bounds ahead of the N64 crap and proved that Castlevania could at least be done competently in 3D, he was pretty spot on with just about everything in that article.
It's quite sad that I've probably put a grand total of 2 or 3 hours of use into my PS2 Network Adapter since I drove all over town in August of 2002 to get it. SOCOM blew and TM:BO got pretty old pretty fast, the only reason I haven't unloaded it yet is because I'm still holding out on something worthwhile coming out in the next year or two which I can make use of.
It wasn't even worth the effort he took to bash the N-Gage, though, everyone already knew what an absolutely colossal failure that was going to be from the get go.
to each his own, i suppose.. and i love tetris as much as the next guy, but c'mon, what kind of example is that for an XBL killer app? It's how old now? And seen how many incarnations?Quote:

2003 also saw the release of the GameBoy Player for the Cube, something that not only extends the life of GB games, but of the Cube as well.
Devil May Cry 2 is the worst gaming mistake made this year. I have never been more dissapointed about a video game EVER.
Moo3 and Deus Ex 2
That sounded almost precisely as if a Nintendo rep just gave it to you to read.Quote:

So downsizing options for your customer is a good option? No.
YOU may not like their games, but it's always nice to have a full shelf of titles for your customers to choose from. Somebody like Acclaim, which I hate to pieces, pulled support and it doesn't mean good things for Nintendo because you or I hate them. Investors see this information too.
No, of course not, and I realize it never looks good from Average Joe Wallstreet's perspective when a company loses a supporter. I'm not talking from their viewpoint, though, I'm talking from mine, and basically anyone who knows what a good game is. Now I can't play Backyard Wrestling on my GC? Say it ain't so!
9 out of 10 3rd party games that release on multiple consoles see release on GC, as well. The biggest games this holiday season, like MOH: Rising Sun, LOTR: ROTK, Simpsons Hit & Run, Tony Hawk Underground, NFS Underground, all the EA sports games... They're ALL on GC. The sleepers like Metal Arms and Beyond Good & Evil are, too. I'll admit that aside from V-Joe and Mario Kart, they're suffering on exclusives this season, but fragblastit, how many $50 games is a given consumer going to buy for one person, anyway? I'd wager one or two. In which case, you have more than enough selection given the titles I mentioned.
