Ugly but functional. Looks like a purchase.
I wonder if it would be compatable with a home port of Virtua Cop 3 ?????

Wouldn't ANY gun be compatible with a home VC3 ?
As far as I can tell, all you need is one button to map to the pedal right ?
Exactly my point!Quote:

When you are not looking in the scope the view is "zoomed-out" or the default view. When you put your eye up to the scope the screen zooms-in. Sounds like it will work fine for me.
Is there a date for this yet? It sounds too good to be true.
I heard it is out in Best Buy for $50 already (I thought it was supposed to have a MSRP of $40??).
I tried this thing out at Fry's the other day, I couldn't really figure out how the motion sensor works. The only thing I could get to work was a switch which toggles between whether the zom is on all the time. If not, there seems to be a little knob that can zoom in and out at will. The feel of the thing is pretty nice, a little kickback and a nice shoulder mount on the butt.
Other than the feel, there isn't much going for it unless you have $50 to spend. I also played the game with the Mad Catz blaster for HOTD3 and it works pretty well, basically you can trigger the zoom in feature by pressing one of a number of buttons, I use the one beneath the trigger (used for reloading in HOTD3) or you can use one of the ones on the barrel. You have to wonder why they didn't bother to do this with the other versions of the game.
I thought that light guns needed that horrible flash to find themselves? If this gun can figure out where it's pointing why do other light gun games need that flash?
