Dreams.

I used the search feature to look for a similar thread in this forum and to my dismay there wasn't one that I could find. So I decided to make a thread to ask everybody what their big dream in life is/was. Some of you suckers may have had your dreams squashed, some may have fulfilled them.

I don't care how ridiculously sissy some dreams may sound, spill your beans. Everybody has atleast one dream from ruling the entire world (oceans too), or maybe just making a million dollars. This is why I am eliminating the following choices:

NO Striking it rich, big time
NO Striking it rich, small time (just to cover all bases)
NO Ruling the world

I guess I should go first. Well, my dream is to one day become an animator and technical director of a videogame or movie. I'm on my way to becomming said profession with a 1 1/2 visual arts credit to my name. Afterward I'll go to a well known animation course in Toronto and flesh out my options from there.

My #1 goal and dream with this education is to eventually have an idea approved at a gaming company (after working there for abit) to create an epic Zelda/Fable-esque style game. I plan on throwing RPG elements in to the mix and creating great combat-based gameplay and a world people will want to explore. Maybe online eventually if technology permits, but I doubt that.

So, what's your dream?

I imagine that 88mph's is to become a famous rockstar... I don't really know anybody elses... maybe Fox's would be to become a character designer or something...

All I want is to be successful out of college with little transition from college to working, and of coarse a family.


...and a million dollars.

Oh and BTW, this thread was not an excuse to say the word shucks.

Shucks.

Contribute something worthwhile to society in my chosen field. Raise a family, in a nice home. Live a decent life. What else is there?

That seems like a lot of work to give yourself permission to dig through other people's trash.

Im hoping to finish high school, then go to a bladesmithing school in California. Thats what my current hopes are set for.

Dreams? Ambitions? Hell, I'm fifteen, I don't even have a vague idea what kind of job I could ever do. All I've nailed down as far as 'dreams' go is not being broke out of college, and having a marriage that doesn't end in divorce.

I know, too much to ask :)

-Lead a complicated but interesting life
-Write something that'll engender a paradigm shift or somethin'
-Be able to get to a point in my life where I can come home from work and enjoy life without worrying about neglecting some other duty
-A happy Marriage, awesome kids, the whole lot (I will breed an army!)
