Honestly, I can't say I feel CV2 has aged well, either. As a kid, this game was amazing to me... but now? I can hardly be bothered to play it for long. It can't hold me like CV1, CV3, even CV4 can. And for the record, I think CV4 is an awesome game. I was just playing it a month or so back... Lots of fun.
Since I don't feel like paying fucking $100 for any game, no matter how rare, I don't own Rondo of Blood. And considering I still don't have a CD-ROM for either my PCE or my TG16, nor do I have a Duo, I have nothing to play it on at the moment, anyway.
I did play it once, though, not long enough to form an opinion. And I did play through the SNES version/Drac XX, which was an okay game, but I understand it's not the same game. But something tells me for all people jizz over this title, it can't be that damn amazing. I'd like to see a PS1 budget rerelease, because I loved CV Chronicles. I never played the X68000 CV prior, and it introduced the new badass Simon character design.
But you know what? Screw Drac X. I want a remake of CV3 with CV Chronicles-quality graphics. I'd pay $50 for that no problem. :D
Maybe if I have time later on today I'll try to start up some CV2 action. I doubt it'll go well, though. It just doesn't do it for me anymore.
That demo was my first contact with SH in any way, shape, or form.Quote:

ROndo isnt bad
you can play it emulated on your PC with magic engine if you dont have a Duo to play it on
though i would like to play it on my tv one of these days and i need to get the CD Adon for my TG16 too bad i have yet to see one on ebay or for sale anywhere else for that matter
If you have a Duo there is always the grey market kind. :lol:Quote:

The best Castlevania.Quote:

!!!!
Super Castlevania 4 is still awesome imho.
I was never a huge fan of CV2, much of the game is too obscure, relying on mindless wandering. Atleast that's how I remember it.
Yeah. Whatever.Quote:
