It's coming. Thank god. The Jackie we all knew and loved, tempted and altered by Hollywood, is now returning to HK to his best series. New Police Story is coming out over the summer 2004. I'll be the first to say Holy Shit for this. Awesome news. I can't believe I havn't heard about this earlier. Police Story is my favorite chan series, this is fucking incredible. This flick has a lot to live up to just by the name alone.

There's 4 Police Story movies. First Strike was the 4th and I think Supercop was the 3rd(I barely remember it). I heard that he was making this awhile ago after the Medallion was flushed. One can assume it'll be good classic Chan stuff but I'll still wait till it's out before I gush over it.

Yeah, there are generally considered 4 -- but the first 3 use the character Ka Kui for Jackie Chan and follow basically the same general theme and have May (Maggie Cheung) be his love interest in all 3. 4 doesn't really fit at all (characters have different names, no May, etc.), but they called it PS4...so anyway, yeah...Quote:
