Next year is looking good

Seen Andy's GBA 2004 list, and it reminded me I jotted down a list of games that could be released to look forward to next year. I left out the GBA list. Here goes-

PS2- Killzone, GTA4, Nightshade, Blood Will Tell, Onimusha 3, Astro Boy, Final Fantasy 12, Snk vs Capcom, Samurai Showdown 0, Metal Slug 3, Street Fighter 2 HyperX, Metal Gear Solid 3, Gran Turismo 4, Gradius V, Tenchu 4, Sega Ages, Kingdom Hearts 2, La Pucelle, Gundam Zeta, Maximo 2, Rise to Honor, Gungrave 2, Outrun 2, Dragon Warrior 8, Star Ocean

XBOX- Halo 2, Fable, Psychonauts, Jade Empire, Call of Cthullu, Ninja Gaiden, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Phantom Dust, Breakdown

GC- new Metroid, Mario 128, new Zelda, Star Fox, Unity, Tales of Symphonia, Baiten Kaitos, Pikmin 2, MGS: Twin Snakes, Final Fantasy CC, Donkey Konga, Mario Tennis, Custom Robo, Resident Evil 4, Killer 7, Wario Ware

What did I leave out?

Yeah, I would be very surprised if all of those made it out, but if they do, Jesus Christ I don't know how I'll be able to afford half the stuff I want next year. It seems that almost all of Microsoft and Nintendo's really huge titles got delayed till early next year too, so it doesn't look like there will even be the traditional lull in 2004.

It's going to be a very rich gaming year for me if I'm even able to play half of those titles, let alone all of them.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines for PC is another potential great game for next year.

For some reason it seems that only less than half the games that I purchase each year are games that I anticipate from lists like this...it's the sleepers and surprises that kill my pocketbook. :(

This is going to be a good year for PS2. From your list I probably want: Nightshade, Blood Will Tell, Astro Boy, Metal Slug 3, Sega 3D Ages, La Pucelle, Maximo 2, Outrun 2, Star Ocean. Plus, I'll add: Sonic Heroes & Growlancer Generations.

From the looks of the XB/GC lists I don't think I'll be picking up either console again this year, unless something as yet unannounced develops.

I might get Puyo Puyo Fever for DC, if I don't wait for the probable NA PS2 rev.

I know there are a ton of great games coming out next year...

But when I think of 2004, all I can think about is the new Maximo.

Sonic Heroes makes me sad because SA2 was shit and this looks shitty in a slightly different way.

Hmmm boy, cant wait to get my hands on those 35 sequels....
