Unopened Games

Compass, the power of Christ compells you to play those games. I have none unopened, barring future Christmas gifts.

I buy games to play them, but recently I've been stuck on neverending ones like Crimson Skies online and CVS2 online, so my stack gets bigger and bigger.

Only one, Panzer Dragoon Saga :)

Too many, some of which I just haven't gotten to yet, some game that I bought at a really good price to hold onto and others that are just part of a collection like my "Greatest Hits" versions of Final Fantasy games ;)

I went through an "Ah-what-the-fuck-it-isn't-like-I'm-going-to-sell-it-anyway" phase a while back, and opened up most of my sealed games. Buy em' to play em', not to sit on a shelf - that's a waste of time and money.

The only sealed games I have left are ones that I already have OPENED copies for, like my Capcom and SNK Saturn fighting Games, or ones that I saw on eBay that were too good a deal to pass up.

A quick count yielded 60, and reminded me that I really should sell pieces of crap like Timestalkers and Alundra 2.

Don't believe the 2D love-children; Alundra 2 is better than the first. Open it and be surprised.

And I can't speak for the rest of the people in this thread but my long list of unopened games isn't due to being a collector and wanting to keep pristine copies on a shelf. I fully intend to open and play all my games at some point. It's just that when you're already in the middle of like fifty games you tend to want to try to finish a few before embarking on new ones (if for no other reason than a lack of memory card space). This problem grows when you have a full time job (i.e. very little free time) and are interested in many types of games across several genres as well as older titles you missed out on the first time around for whatever reason.

I use to have a lot more unopened games. Currently it's Last Blade 2 (DC), Legend of Dragoon, VF4: Evo (2nd Copy), and Mark of Kri. There are games that I have opened but haven't even played yet (looks at Xenosaga). I didn't open/play my copy of Shenmue 2 (DC) until 6 months after I bought it... :\
