Sony isn't going to sell the old remote anymore, and the only way consumers are gonna know that the current remote only works with the 5001 is to read the fine print on the back of the box.
And all you you retail workers know exactly how often people actually read the back of the box, right?
We all need to do our part to keep the public educated, and keep angry people from trying to return open remote controls.
Is it just that the new buttons only work with the 50001 model, or all the buttons?Quote:

they should put the same "+" sticker on it that they put on the new PS2 system boxes
