And to actually add something meaningful to this post: I gave way more this year than I got, and way more than I've given any other year in the past.

We dropped tons of cash on various donations and gifts n' such for local charities, needy kids, and pet rescue/animal shelters.

Kinda neat.

I got myself Megaman Zero.
Im good for a couple of Christmases

I tend to give better gifts than I receive so I'm gonna talk about those since my gifts rock.

I gave three of my gamer friends games (metal arms, deus ex 2, vf4:evo) respectively.

I gave one of my sisters Karaoke Revolution.

I gave another sister two DVDs -- the Tenacious D Masterworks and Run, Ronnie, Run.

random gifts to friends; family; rommates: A connect four, XBOX Live starter kit, The 80s Game, A complete illustrated guide to modern firearms, a complete illustrated guide to knives, Vice: The Book, Magnetic Poetry.

I usually tailor make a gift buy to the person but if I can't figure it out I usually do the gift card thing.

It does.

It's amazing that I went from literally living on the street six or so years ago to being able to afford to give hundreds of dollars away.

The world is kinda crazy like that sometimes.

Heh.. gives me hope. Compared to my quality of living back in late 2000 I'm doing alot better now - hopefull things will get better.

I've gotten quite a few gifts this year that came out of nowhere, including a TV and DVD player for my room. Also got the Ultimate Ric Flair Collection, which has been amazing so far.

All I've gotten so far was the Ziggy Stardust DVD, maybe tommorow I'll get some more stuff.
