Best 2d fighter, for casual or high-level play

Garou: Mark of the Wolves, King of Fighters '98 and Street Fighter Alpha 3 are my favourite 2D fighting games. I'm surprised none of them were options on the list...

Sf3 means third strike. Why in gods name would i mean the other 2? Seroiusly now, i just wrote the main tourney games...

I like Samurai Shodown 1 and 2 alot, probably had more fun in that game playing with my friends than any other fighters period. So I will go with 2. No crazy combo or anything like that, but I don't care :)
