The guy's been a crocodile handler his whole life - I'm sure the baby was perfectly safe. Chances are, there'd be more risk involved driving your kid to the supermarket.
On the other hand, doing that in front of an audience is a really dumb PR move, though.

I was more horrified that he wasn't supporting the neck of his one-month old child. But seriously, as if a croc can tell the difference between a dead chicken and a human baby. The guy's a wanker.
The footage of him holding his son close to the ground so it looked like he was running away from the croc was classic.

He's actually hurt by alligations that he endangered his baby. The thing is, holding a baby near a fucking crocodile is dangerous. Its not rocket science.

jesus, the media is like a bunch of fucking vultures now, everyone's looking for the next person to harp and rail on. It may have not been the wisest thing to do, but the guy is going to raise his kids however he wants (he just shouldn't have done it in public) and I'm glad the Child protective ppl are passing this over, there's no reason to press charges or whatever the fuck some ppl say they should do.

Anyway, I don't think the Child Protection People in Australia (DoCS) would pull him up on that. Don't get me wrong, they're still a bunch of fat-childless-do-gooder-bitches-that-think-they-know-better-than-real-parents, but I think he'd have to be directly harming the child for them to care.
From what I heard on the news, was that the baby was a toy doll. Not a actual baby.
