January usually isn't the best time for new Movies, but the lineup for Jan 2004 is really looking poor. Here's some of the Jan releases:
Chasing Liberty - new Mandy Moore Movie
My Baby's Daddy
Torque - The effects don't look so hot.
The Butterfly Effect - Ashton Kutcher thriller, has possibilites.
Along Came Polly - Could be funny
Nothing really grabs me but there's always the chance of a surprise hit.
Butterfly Effect has my attention, I like the concept.
if the butterfly effect is as cool as the band by the same name, then we're set.
The trailor of the butterfly effect didn't really make it seem like it had anything to do with the butterfly effect at all. The real butterfly effect has nothing to do with time travel, it's about causality that cannot be observed or understood by human logic. But this movie (from what i could tell) is about changes made through direct causality, and how those propogate through time. So I'm confused...
This Jan i'll just be seeing RotK again anyway :)
Hmm, Plus Kill Bill Vol 2 might get delayed till April, making it even worse winter season.
Torque is a rental for me, and other than that nothing else is on the horizon.
