There is no argument.
Russia can lick balls. Everything of note they got in WW2 they stole from allies via spying or Germany. They fought a 1 front war and barely won that.
Great job declaring war on Japan 2 days after the US A-Bombed them.
Fags.

I thought Russia held off Germany's invasion despite being really outmatched...
well, once winter kicked in, at least.
I thought they got a lot of praise for that. Was Russia overhyped during WW2?
Is that a fact?Quote:

No need to be so sarcastic. My point in posting the casualty stats was that contrary to what most Americans have been led to believe, we pwned the NVA on the battlefield.Quote:

Anyways, I just get sick and tired of hearing ignorant statements like 'the man in the black pajamas kicked our ass' b/c militarily speaking, they got pwned. Hard.
We agree about his mastery of propaganda and politics.Quote:

I think we can thank the Hitler Chann- er, the HISTORY Channel for that impression. :D But seriously, if Hitler had listened to his generals, Germany never would have become the power it did. Hitler's gambles (Czechloslovakia, Poland, Non-Aggression Pact, etc) were not popular w/the staid High Command. When Hitler's gambles paid off (big time), the generals were cowed into unquestionable obedience, which led to all sorts of (strategic) blunders later on (Normandy, Stalingrad, El-Alamein, etc).
I think you're right that later on in the war, Hitler's (poor) commands were unquestioned. But early on, he was coming up aces.
The catch w/Hitler is that w/o his leadership (and gambling) Germany never would've become so powerful. And by the same token, w/o his gambling, the Third Reich might very well be around today...
Both of them are facts.Quote:

Now, the US was eager to get Russia into the war. This would allow them to use the new B-29 bomber from mainland china, since the US and British were finding it very tough to get the chinese mobilized. Russia would only come into the war when it suited russia.
That day was 2 days after the US dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, and a few hours before Nagasaki went the same route, stringing along Japan with mention of mediation of a surrender between Japan and the US.
Incidentally, 2 russian spies had told russia the advancements of the US regarding the atomic bomb from New Mexico and Uranium-235, so when Truman went to tell this to Stalin, and imply that his pinko country could fuck right off for not helping, Stalin knew all about it.
In conclusion.
Russia are Pinko's.
Russia are Gretsky-esque cherry pickers.
Russia are fags.
England is cold.
Mzo will be pwned at PGR2 on Sunday.
Hitler slept through D-Day and his aides were too afraid to wake him up.
That about sums up old Adolf's military career.
This is why Vietnam was so bad because we followed that ideology, more political bull-shit in a war that costed more lives on both sides.Quote:

Politically we lost.
You created a slight breach of etiquette by skipping the "triple dare"...Quote:
