"For every 4 javalins sold, you get one of these. "
**Opens up to see glasses and a bottle of scotch**
"For peace."
JR: Where have you been?
TS: I was working on a piece for Vanity Fair.
**shakes hand with the terrorist. Who asked him to help build the missile.**
TS: **Shakes head approvingly.** No I won't.
I liked it, but I'm not going to heap the glowing praise that some have (best super hero movie ever, etc...). I think the characters were fantastic but the action/combat sequences were few and far between - quite unlike most comics. RDJ has always been an immense talent and I loved Jeff Bridges as the villian.
Its a surprise the see The Dude, bold and evil :p
He did a much better job than Nolte did in The Hulk. Though, that script left a bit to be desired.
Line of the movie:
Hot babe: "Tony! Do you remember me?"
Tony: "Sure don't!"
That movie isn't even out yet, is it?
You're right. But as a foundation movie the goal is really to establish the character to the audience. We got some neat action -- more than, say, Superman Returns -- and a great overall movie out of it. For the next one I'd like to see more action scenes, and I'd imagine that'll probably happen with the advent of War Machine as well.
I think that will make the movie worse.
Who knows. This movie was awesome, so maybe don't fuck around with the magic formula too much.
Kinda agree. The story is what made the movie great. They treated it with respect. No 'raindrops keep falling on my head' shit. They may have overdone it with the womanizing, but Stark was always like that.
