Just curious if any of you sport fans watch this show on ESPN. I've started watching the past two months or so and enjoy it and laugh often through out the show. Those two work great with each other and some of their comments are so off the wall its hilarous :lol:
i used to listen to Tony Cornhiesser on ESPN radio a lot. I like the radio show better because they go into more detail, and they stray off topic a lot more (which can get really funny). PTI is good when i care about the topics, but they yell to much and often get cutoff in the middle of good debate because of the timer.
I like PTI, but I much prefer Around the Horn. Both are great shows, though.
I saw Around the Horn yesterday for the first time... good show, but I didnt like the host, Max or whoever... it seemed like he was just giving people points based on whether or not they matched his viewpoints. The two guys who wanted Rose back in got like 13 pts from that round, the ones who didnt got like 2 pts.
I would like PTI more if they got maybe an extra minute to talk about each topic. But yea, I do like the dynamic the two hosts have.
PTI is a pretty good show, but the whole timer thing takes away from it. but the Role Play parts make up for it. very entertaining.
I love Around the Horn because it's funny as hell, Max is always muting Woody for no reason, it's so funny.
Do they have the same guys on every episode?
And who is Woody? The black guy?
No, they change it up. Yesterday they had Stat Boy on there from PTI. Woody Paige is the white guy with semi curly blonde hair. He is normally on every episode.Quote:

I find the voice guy pretty funny on Around the Hooooooooorrrrrrrnnnnn. He always does, I laugh every time.
